Hi, all Since I started an interracial romance thread I'd thought I'd start an interracial erotica. It doesn't have to be m/f it could be yuri, yaoi, or something that deals with transgenders. In my current Nano novel, my FMC is half black half Asian with a Congolese mother, Japanese father but she's from Belgium and my MMC is half African American half Argentinian. Now in this novel although the main focus is the MMC and FMC's relationship (it's considered erotic romance) I do have a character who is a MTF transgender of Georgian descent (the country Georgia) who does have romantic feelings for the MMC but sexualizes the FMC, so that'll make her bi or pansexual. She's not the main focus of this story but she will be of the next novel.
I know I posted in the romance thread, but hey, why not, right? I'm doing one. My in black woman/Asian man. I'm basing my around a K-Pop boy band. Not a real one though. Haha. I don't know if I'm going to finish this year, because this is my first novel/Nano/longest piece. On top of that, I've got school(college). So, yeah, things are complicated. However, if I don't finish this story. Simply because I really like the pairing and the idea. I haven't really done and BW/AM before, and I want to add that to the types of stories I already do. (I also write black woman/white man)
Even though, it's a bit frustrating and I'm a freaking a bit over my style, I'm still kind of, sort of enjoying. That could be because my novel is starting to get "interesting" because my main characters have met one another now and hopefully things will get better. Although, I'm still having some trouble giving off their chemistry.
Well, either that or the fact that I know that I'm going to give this novel a major rewrite when Nano is over. Haha.
Well, I am actually writing a short story (not my NaNoWriMo) about a white male/asian male romance. It's my first MM, and I'm hoping I can actually write it pretty decently. :-/ I guess I have to start somewhere!
Hell, I had to put my original NaNo novel on hold for a moment and started working on another idea. It's not exactly interracial (well it is technically) but I'm gonna give it a try since it's contemporary erotic romance. It's going much better than the other story was. I don't know, I still plan to write it but right now it ain't working.
It's a Noir novel (think of movies like Gilda, Double Indemnity, Casablanca, etc.). A sociopathic hitman is supposed to kill a nightclub singer and it doesn't turn out the way that he thinks it does. They go on to do things like murder the man that posted the hit on her life, and other such things, and they eventually fall for each other. Of course, they both have some really interesting pasts that might threaten to get in the way of their relationship.
I'm writing about a werewolf/human relationship, though I don't think that really counts, ahaha. D: It is fun to write about clashing cultures though, that's for sure. Interracial romances are always the best way to spark that kind of drama. :3
Change of plans a short story I'm working is about a black girl who loses her virginity to her Jewish boyfriend :) And another novel (this book features the short story) about a Fire fighter woman who moves out on her own and embarks on a journey with three guys and discovers the love of her life.
My Nano novel is about an interracial romance as well. My bi-racial FMC has to hide out at the farmhouse of my white MMC, She's a natural submissive, and he's sworn off the life of a Dom, due to the suicide of his fiancee, whom he believes was crushed by his heavy-handed, dominating ways. So when he refuses to have intercourse with the FMC, she believes it's due to racism, while he's struggling to overcome his innate tendencies by not allowing himself to take advantage of her due to her situation.
Mine includes a few interracial relationships as well. My MMC is white, and my FMC is Hispanic. Also, a side couple I have, the girl is Asian and the guy is white. And I have a gay couple in there as well. I have a mix of everything, haha. :D
Hi, this is my first post but I've been putting together my story for a while on my own. As you can probably tell from my username, it involves an Asian man and a black woman... and just like Dallas Laine my guy is also in a K-pop group. I've never written anything this long before and I really hope I can finish it. I also have major time constraints, with grad school and student teaching requirements etc.
I think IR fiction is a great way to expose the commonality of human experience: insecurity, obsession, etc are found in every corner of the earth.
I agree ambw I write a lot of those myself. My original story which I'm trying to work on the MC is half African American and Argentinian and my FM is half Congolese and half Japanese. I love diversity as a whole even though there are a lot of people who feel people should "stick to their own kind" whatever that means. I feel regardless of skin color or where ever you're from you are sticking to your own kind. It's not like you're having sex with animals (unless they're shape shifters and are in their human form of course) I also write plenty of those too. Next nano or for camp or whatever I'll write on my shape shifter series that I started but am struggling with.
Fantasy story here; my FMC is Black; my two MMCs are (well, they appear, anyway -- they're a Demon and Angel, so race is sort of iffy) Asian and Indian, respectively
i'm always writing IR erotica since IR is my life...lol no way around it, just how it is. kinda like the erotica, its part of the story that takes place people finish it in their heads anyway, why not spell it out? plus its a great way to up the wc

What's your novel about?

Of course it counts :) Cultures clashing religions clashing it all can fall under interracial.

I haven't even thought about my Camp stories, but I'm pretty sure they will be I/R again. I love writing and reading I/R.
