I'm in Brentford, but by November I will be in Ealing. Last year we had a weekly write-in at the New Inn on South Ealing Road, and plan to do that again this year...
I never knew that! To be honest, I haven't seen any Dr Who since I was a kid. I used to love it, even if I did watch it peering out from the relative safety of behind the couch.
I have been to said highest point. There are wandering cows on they way there from my place (even in NZ we didn't have wandering cows in the outskirts of cities)! The view is amazing! On a clear day you can see everything.
Wondernah, is Ealing Central a library where it's actually quiet? My local is noisy as hell. I'm glad it's busy but where have all the quiet libraries gone? A friend took me to one in Ruislip and it was a little better, but no plug points.
Ruislip Gardens here - Ickenham has a Wetherspoons that was MADE for writing in!
I'll probably be mostly writing on the 6am tube from Ruislip Gardens to Bond Street, but as it's my first time, it's nice knowing there are others close by
I think I've been in that Weatherspoons, Maggot (never thought I'd be calling anyone that this morning) and I do recall it being kind of dead. I'm fine with noise, just not in libraries, and I might need somewhere super quiet if I keep getting surprise house guests.
HI,
Just wondering if there is anyone near me.
I'm in West London, Uxbridge.
Anyone close by?
Sara
OOH!
I'm in Hillingdon, which is practically in Uxbridge!
I'm in Northolt. Close enough.
I'm in Harrow, so not too far away...

Oh cool that's really close! i didn't expect to find people as close as that.
I'm actually in Ickenham, next to Ruislip but no one has ever heard of it so it's easier to say Uxbridge.
A weekly write in sounds really good to me!
Can't wait to get started.
I know a little bit of Ickenham, sarajjmt. I have a friend there.
Hi, rachael, nice to see someone so local.
Hey, Noghar, I'm sure I'll make it back to the New Inn.
It'll be just like old times... right down to the disgusting coffee.
And me getting grease from whatever I've eaten all over my laptop.
Hi,
I live in Staines, but am frequently in the Uxbridge area (Harefield Hospital!), so 'Hello'!!
Eve
I'm in Perivale. It would seem most people only know it exists because they've glanced it on a tube map.
I know that Perivale exists - but only because in the original series of Doctor Who, the seventh Doctor's companion, Ace, was from Perivale...
I also once acquired a random fact about Perivale, which is that it has the highest point in London...
But that's where my Perivale knowledge ends!

And that's just a couple of tube stops away form me, Valkjr, so hello!
I'm somewhere between South Harrow and South Ruislip
I'm at Hanger Lane - if you see someone scribbling away in a cosy corner of Ealing Central Library, feel free to come and say hello!
I'll be at the library too! I'm planning to go handwritten this year, but I'm not sure how the word count is going to work, any tips?

I'm in Uxbridge as well! :) So nice to see so many of us West Londoners :D

Shepherd's Bush here!
I'm in Ealing and already looking forward to the write in on Saturday :) I'm really itching to get started - 2 days to go!!
