So, from what I've seen, there aren't all that many teenagers doing NaNoWriMo. Or at least, I haven't really come across many. Only my friends from school who either signed up voluntarily or were forced. I'd like to meet some people, maybe for write-ins or something of the sort but I don't know if I'd feel comfortable around adults so if anyone is a teenager, please make yourself known to me so I know I'm not the only one!
I will be 16 on the second Thursday of NaNoWriMo. I'm trying to fit this event between a large piece of History coursework and the IGCSE Mock revision period. Which Write-Ins were you thinking of attending?
Perhaps this was the wrong year to consider stepping into the year of novelling. Good luck! I'm going to need a hell of a lot of it!
I'm 15 and I'm gonna be 16 on the 21st I was wondering if you guys wanted to possibly have a teenager only write in? I mean, it's just a thought. I'm curious as to how many people would come. I'm in Sunbury (Greater London) anyone live near me? Do you have to be a certain age to organise a write in or what?
Well, I personally think a teenagers-only write in would be a great idea. I would certainly go, and I'd drag my friend along who are doing NaNoWriMo in this area. We live in Bromley, so we have easy transport into the city center and also into areas like greenwich and wimbledon. I just went on google maps and looked Sunbury up. If you zoom out a little you can see Bromley. We seem to be about 35 km away. Between us, if you're still up for organising a write-in, you could nanomail me and we could find a place somewhere we can both easily reach. :-) Just so you know, including myself and you and my friends who would come there would be about 6 of us so far.
I'm 18! The person who told me about this is 16 so there are teens about. :) I can't do any write in's unfortunately thanks to college and A2 English coursework though which is a shame! :(
I'm 15, and this is my third year doing Nano. I'm also some how trying to fit this around mock revision and stuff (probably not the best idea...) but I'm thinking of going to the Sunday write-ins at starbucks, which I went to two years ago and were loads of fun. Good luck everyone!

I'd definitely consider doing one of the Sunday sessions. Also considering doing the NaNorilla walking tour, but on the other hand, I've probably visited most of the locations before, owing to my frequent adventures alone on the streets of the various areas of London that my family colloquially refers to as 'Taahn' (basically any area of London west of Stratford), due to the fact that my school is two blocks away from the starting point. I'll see how I feel closer to the time.
BTW Is there any way to get rid of the Overwrite function on the comment posting system?
I'm 14 and its my first time doing NaNoWriMo! I live near Stratford and was thinking of organising a write in somewhere in East London. Does any other teenagers live in East London? (as I would hate to be the only teenager at my own write in!)
I'm from South Woodford. That's technically East London, although we're on the border with the North, though. If it wasn't for Newcastle, we'd definitely have a NE postcode.

I'm doing it (voluntarily). I'm 14.

I'm doing NaNo, and I'm 14. 3 of my friends are also doing it ( ones 13, the others are 14)
Actually, I know quite a few teenagers doing it... :-D
I'm 18 and I feel old xD glad I'm not the only teenager though ^^
I'm 16, and feeling slightly relieved. I don't know any other teenagers doing it personally.

Absolutely not! Anyone of any age can organise one. Just let us know how / if you want to promote it.

Sunbury's a bit of a trek for some people. It would have to be somewhere slightly more central.

Voluntary youth. : D
Wimbledon is pretty easy to reach? Depending on the area of course.
I'm 19, so just hanging in there in the teenager group!
I'm 14, and I'd love too come, but it all depends on how far away it is.. my parents can be a little overprotective. :(
I'm 16, and gonna be 17 on the last day of NaNo. I can't wait until then. Hopefully I'll have finished my book by then :P
Another 18yo here! Anyone have any ideas where/when we might have this teenager write in? I'm free most days. :)
Im 15, and i'd love to meet up since i dont really know anyone else participating =3

I'm 19 - last NaNo as a teenager! Good luck everyone ^^
I'm 18, so technically I'm an adult now but still feel like a teenager. XD
