I need something between 1h and 1h30 to write 1,000 words, but only when I visualise the scene. Meaning that I'm going to start my 5h hour of writing as I really intend to catch up all my being late. "no, i'm not a vampire. yes, i have very white skin that shines in the sun, and yes, if i look into the sunlight it makes my eyes hurt like crazy. but that's because i'm a wrimo." so guess what she said. "so i guess wrimos are the same thing as vampires?" yeees, my social life has been suffering for some time. i will write until midnight today, hoping that i can finish this before november 25th. there is no was that the NOVEL will be done by then, i am only just about to finish day two. but at least i will have won. kind of. but finishing day one was very motivating. more motivating than any major wordcount-passing, anyway. i will ask you all to disable the caring mother inside yourself, yes, yvonne, even you, and just let me do my stuff and i promise i will peacefully let you do your stuff. and now, i will leave you and eat my pizza that just arrived. i love ordering pizzas, but i never get to do it because my mom doesn't like it. gotta celebrate her absence by doing all kinds of stuff i shouldn't actually be doing. here's to ALL OF US winning this thing. no matter if we win by actually writing 50k, but we win in our heads, and most importantly in our hearts. and yvonne, i almost forgot to write this. you are a most lovely person and i like you and i think your children are very lucky children to have you as their mother, and your brownies are awesome. <3 bye! When we started fanning a future Nobel Prize in Ada's direction, I think that we were all intrigued by having such a young person join us DESPITE going to school full time. Personally, I am floored by what this 14 year old has accomplished so far with us, writing her heart out and being basically a blithe spirit. An actress, how lovely.
