Put in your votes for the dates :-) It's set up for the evenings during the week and earlier for Sunday (which goes for Saturday as well actually) so that we can read bits from our novels before we head our for dinner and/or drinks.
Location is yet to be decided, please feel free to throw in any ideas you might have.
Looks like it's going to be on Sunday 18th December, where most people are available and Cecile will be back in the country then as well.
Afternoon get-together for reading our novels to each other (well a part of them at least hehe) and maybe a few drinks or something along those lines later on for those who can.
So far nothing else is planned, but we're open to suggestions of course ;-)

I am a bit snowed under for the next day or two. THe theme is "Mom, can you quiz me?" Exam time multiplied by two. Sunday, December 18th...Yes, that it what it looks like.!

Looking forward to meet you all again! It felt strange spending the first Saturday afternoon *not* in Exki ;)
Yes, I felt lonely . A singularly strange feeling. My goal for today is to comb over at least one chapter.I don't wish to keep my dear beta readers waiting!:)
Steph and I will make sure that you don't forget. xo
The TGIO will take place on Sunday 18 Dec at 3.30pm at Table du Pain avenue Monterey. I need an RSVP from those of you who plan on attending. I apologize for this last minute modification.
Please RSVP by Friday so that I may secure a reservation in the upstairs room.
About 2-3 minutes of talking has been our idea for the excerpt. Doesn't necessarily have to be that long, can be a tad longer as well. We'll also include a more general discussion of the novels we've written so that we can all get a bit of an idea what everyone has come up with :-) Still no pressure of course, we understand if someone doesn't feel comfortable with giving away what they have written! :-)

Hi Steph!
It's been a rough day. Thanks for the great answer! y
I'll print an excerpt, a small one. I hope I won't have to read it aloud ^^;
About this general discussion of the novels, we can do this : each of us write a summary of their novel on a sheet of paper and make it circulate around the table, so each guest can read it, and each gives opinions - or suggestions for those who are stuck. We did this at a kick-off party in Northern Ireland, it was fun.

I've been unable to log into NaNo for some reason until today, but I will be there tomorrow! I also can't find Yvonne's email address so can't confirm :/ (Even though I'm late...)

Hi Rose, I just noticed this: Just take a bus from the train station as if you were going to Exki. Get out at Hamilius, the first stop after the bridge. You'll have the big post office building right in front of you. Table du Pain is located on the street on the right hand side of the post office. It is two or three doorsz down fro the Dexia bank. Closer than Exki. You should have now problem

Uh oh, we may have a problem. It's snowing, heavily. Depending on transport I may not be able to make it tomorrow, unfortunately this includes my transport to work for Monday morning as if we're leaving ridiculously early (6am) then I need to get to sleep early. Fingers are crossed it slows down!
The snow might not stick, so there might still be a chance that it won't affect anything/anyone tomorrow. Do not worry about it though Rose, we understand if the weather will cause you trouble! :-)
But this goes for everyone I think, if the weather is going to turn extremely crap, alot of us will stay home, especially those who cannot rely on reliable public transport to get to the TGIO Party.
But we'll have another get together to talk about our novels and read excerpts some time in the next year - at a slightly quieter place as well hehe. So you can still catch up on the TGIO! :-)
You really rendered me speechless with your beautiful gift and card.THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This NaNo was the best ever for me. I look forward to flying with you all again next year.:)
Big Hugs! Keep your eyes on the forum.....because... this opera ain't over 'til the fat lady sings!

And yeah, the NaNo site has been having a lot of trouble lately, I regularly couldn't log in either.
