I advise you too to use it - I love dares! I've been dared to write a scene with these 5 words : liver, stepmother, vortex, spasm, grotesque. Which reminds me : we could have set up a dare for the Luxembourg region. We used to do that in Northern Ireland - first year I took part in, we had to include a pumpkin and the next year it was a ninja, a pirate, a robot and a monkey (yep! All of four of them and I managed to have them all in one scene). In France, they have Gatorism - which consists in including an alligator in your Na-Novel (all explained <a href="http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/forums/europe-france/threads/8661" rel="nofollow">here</a> for those who can read french).
