There's gotta be more KH fans than just me kicking around...! So! Favourite characters, unfavourite characters? Favourite plot points? WTF were they thinking plot points? Anyone (besides me) writing KH fic for NaNo?

Kingdom Hearts! I just beat Birth By Sleep for the second time a few days ago, trying to get the secret ending. It's a fabulous series, and the games just keep getting better. Favo(u)rite characters? I like pretty much all of the original characters; I'm not one of those people who can manage to hate a fictional character because they ruin their favorite pairing or something. Master Eraqus and Master Xehanort both get extreme kudos, just because ~eee~, their voice actors! Generally, though, I like most of them more or less equally. I've actually been thinking about doing a pair of novels this year for 100,000 words total (I am insane), with the second being fanfiction; if I do go with that idea, then the second could be Kingdom Hearts, since Birth By Sleep captured my interest again.

Birth By Sleep completely revived my love of the games. I played through each character, got the ending, and had to play Terra's story a second time. :) I love the Kingdom Hearts series so much. I'm gonna be cliche and say that my favorite character is Sora. I'm such a fan of Sora in the first game-- his interactions with some of the Disney characters (read: POOH BEAR) made me super nostalgic when I played the game for the first time. (Now I'm doubly nostalgic when I replay that game-- remembering the first time I played it, as as seeing characters from my childhood!) Has anyone played Re:Coded? My little sister got it, and I'm skeptical about it.

I love Kingdom Hearts! I literally am always hunting through websites trying to find the latest news while avoiding spoilers at the same time xD. I also bought a few plushies of my favorite characters from the district fair that happens near my house... I'm hoping next year to add a Roxas to my collection. My favorite characters are Sora, Roxas, and Axel as for why I like Sora no idea I just do. I like Roxas because of his character death and he is one of the few characters for a game that I have actually ever felt sorry for because of everything that happens to him. As for Axel he's just plain cool. I would add Riku to this list but I only like him after what happens in Kingdom Hearts 1 so I don't think he deserves a spot on my list even if I do own a plush of him. I haven't beaten Birth By Sleep yet. For some reason even if it is Kingdom Hearts I can't get myself into playing hand held games... I am going to try and beat it after NaNo is over. Not writing a FanFiction for NaNo because I have one planned and have already written part of it which goes against the rules *sighs*. Oh well I haven't worked it out fully...

Kingdom Hearts is the only video game I'll play over and over again (it helps there are so many games now that if you play through all of them once, it's been like a year since you played the first game so you can go back to it XDD). My favourite character is Sora, of course. I actually really dislike Riku. I love how strong their friendship is, yes, but Riku in both games just made me want to throw something at him. (Did anyone else take a billion times to defeat him in Hollow Bastion?) Kairi is alright - she's not around long enough for me to get irritated at, ha. I love Donald and Goofy though. Sora, Donald and Goofy were my favourite trio. I hope they stay in the next game, though it looks unlikely... I've played and beaten Birth By Sleep. I loved it, actually. Aqua could kick so much butt it was unreal, Ven was the cutest thing on earth, what happened with Terra is just WTF worthy (but he still fought for Aqua and Ven, so I still love him). Also, baby Riku and Sora were the cutest things ever. The whole 'passing on the keyblade' thing... I never really got that. That just seemed like something the creators threw in to avoid having to come up with a reason why anyone with strength of heart doesn't have their own keyblade. D:

Oh, hell, the fight with Riku in Hollow Bastion. It didn't help that I was an incredibly aggressive fighter, and hadn't even bothered to learn to block. Or that you couldn't skip cutscenes, so I had to sit through the same one over, and over, and over again. Ugh. Ven was Sora Lite, but I really liked his personality, and his last scenes in the game really won me over. Terra made the early game almost pathetically easy, but his final boss battle was nails. Aqua was incredibly weak for about five seconds at the beginning (no spells + no HP = pain), but then became an all-powerful goddess. Mega Flare, Seeker Mine, Magic Hour, Fission Firaga, Seeker Mine, Curaga! Rinse, lather, and repeat. Mobs died. Have you beaten the two bonus bosses? I somehow managed to scratch and claw my way through the first one as Aqua, but the second is so far beyond me that I doubt I'll try fighting it again for another couple of months.

PSSSH YES. The fact you could NOT skip that freaking cutscene was just insult to injury. It wasn't even a short one, it was like one of the longest ones in game. I play the same way as you though - I was always attack attack attack, and never learnt how to block, so when you got half his health down and he started doing that flying/super fast move with 1 hit KO... -dies- Ven was like Sora... or is Sora like Ven? I was so surprised at the ending, for both Ven & Terra and who they become (I'll try and be vague in case anyone reads this and doesn't know yet so I don't spoil). I agree, Terra's final boss is like a slap in the face. It didn't help that, for the first time, he actually had the attacks you saw in the cutscenes in game... I swear I just spent most of the battle dodging his keyblade attack xDDD Really, Aqua was just a game breaker. I've never played a character that was quite so amazing before... Once. The first one - the Lingering Spirit, I think? but that seriously was just a fluke. I've tried again since and never managed to get even close. Bonus bosses make me sad.

No PSP, so I didn't get to play BBS; I watched a playthrough of it online. Favorite Characters, in no particular order: Riku, Roxas, Axel, and Xion. While Riku's boss battle in KH1 drove me NUTS, I really love him as a character. I think he's the only one who legitimately makes mistakes, screws up, and tries to make amends while understanding how he screwed up. Axel is pure awesome. Xion... if you've played Days, you can guess. And Roxas... I like him better htan Sora for a lot of reasons. My main reasoning, though, is: in CoM, Sora fell asleep and essentially got 'reset'. He did a lot of learning and changing in that game, and even if you don't count the memory-thing, I think it made him more interesting as a character, more rounded... but he lost all of that. I think of Roxas as Sora with character development, allowed to grow up and brood but still optimistic, cheerful, and willing to take chances/look on the bright side. Anyone else cry at most of the game endings?

I'm writing a KH fanfic for NaNo this year!! :D Nice to find someone else who loves it as much as I do. It's one of my favorite games, besides some of the Final Fantasy series and Zelda but it's my favorite fandom to write for. Sadly, I havent played anything past KHII but I've done extensive research. I love Sora, he's so cute and cheery and a great main protagonist! I'll always have a soft spot for him. And am I the only one a bit sad that the Organization XIII kind of took over the game :/ I like pre-Org as well, aka Kingdom Hearts. Don't get me wrong the Org is great, just a bit spotlight-stealing. But I like all the characters, they all have potential, I usually am easy going about characters unless they completely rub me the wrong way for some reason (AKA Lulu FFX) But anyways, nice to see fellow KH Lovers!

Kingdom Hearts! Love love love. Yeah, the outro music for my wedding was "Hand in Hand." It was perfect. :) Favorite character: I'm in love with Sora, obviously. My husband is aware of this, and tolerates it. Roxas is great too, but I repeat myself. Favorite plot point: uh, the whole thing. Everything about the two main games. I play them over and over because I love the story. I've actually never done fanfic, but if I ever do, KH is probably where I'll start. Good luck to all the KH fans this November!

Kingdom HEARTS~ I have only played one and two, but I ADORE them. Favorite characters are definitely Namine and Roxas. SInce I accidentally played KH2 before KH1, I was so confused but having the time of my life. And then all of a sudden in that white room it hit me, I was like, "ROXAS IS LEAVING?!!!" I literally cried over him. And Axel. And also, I love the Hydra. Just because I love yelling "GET ON THE HYDRA'S BACK!!!" Also, because of the above, I really don't like Sora, hahaha. His personality gets on my nerves and.. he 'killed' Roxas for me. Also, Alice in Wonderland and Olympic Coliseum were my favorite places :)

I LOVE KINGDOM HEARTS Fav char: Sora, Kairi, Aqua, Roxas, Mickey, Twilight gang Unfav char: Riku (dunno why), Olympus collessium guys, Terra Fav moments: The beginning, the climax and the ending of KH II, KH 358/2 Days & KH BbS Hated moments: "Get onto the Hydra's back!" (this was annoying) + Low health warning, Lost to Sephiroth Fav plot: The whole thing, ever since the secrets about organization XIII revealed, who Xemnas really was, the Keyblade master examnation, the Chamber of Slumber and Awakening, the origin of castle oblivion... I love Twilight town, it's very beautiful there and the BGM was so soothing~

I was hoping someone would make this thread! As far as favorite characters go, I have 3: Axel, Demyx, and Roxas. I ADORE them, and I'm so mad that the trio theory didn't pan out. Most of my friends do not get how I like Roxas, but I love him. His whole story was so sad and I felt pretty angry when he had to go because I liked him so much better than Sora. I HATE Sora. He's nice and all, but he annoys the hell out of me. I like Riku better than him, and that is saying something. (Riku is one of my more hated characters--such a jerk! Yeah, he had good intentions, but no. Just no) Now, I will admit that I haven't beaten many of the games. I came THIS close to beating the first one, and my file got deleted. I have beaten Days and RE: COM for the gameboy though. I have played the second one fairly far in, and I nearly beat re:coded, but my niece saved over my file. The only one I haven't played is BBS and that's because I don't have a psp. I do have a 3ds now, specifically because I know the next Kingdom Hearts game is coming out for the 3ds. I am READY.

I've only played Days, but it was awesome! It's like the only game I ever play on DS or on anything else. It was awesome! It totally changed my life! I got a writing inspiration and it sparked my first manga drawing! It is awesome! I love Roxas. Something else, I have a twin sister and her and my mom both feel celtic music or indian music in there souls which I don't exactly feel and one time i blurted out "Hey! I'm my sister's Nobody!"
