The Cake is A LIE!

This hasn't been started yet so I thought I'd volunteer it.



Pie is real as can plainly see,
but the cake is a lie, just pure fantasy!

You speak the truth about the lie,
I don't know what to do or why.

A game, a game I truly see,
but what, pray tell, could the rules be?

Seriously, what? I think I got it half right.

Well it's not a matter of rhyming. I just did that for fun!

The rules are simple....

All things are true except for the cake, because the cake is a lie!

The cake may be a lie, but cake is still better than pie. And anyone, or thing, that promises cake and does not deliver, well, that's just unspeakable!

No one can promise cake because it is a lie!

A lie or not a lie, the cake thread will never die.

GLaDOS promises cake, but the cake is a LIE!

Cookies are good because they're true.
Stay away from the cake. The cake is a LIE!

(This is the first year I can truly participate in this thread. BECAUSE I PLAYED PORTAL! >:D)

A lizard could die, splayed out in a pie,
But do not make the mistake of having faith in cake.

The cake is faithless, a liar, a fake
Whatever you do, do not trust the cake!

Everything holds true in the story world,
Except for the cake. 'Tis a lie now unfurled.

I don't know why the cake is a lie,
But it just is, so stop teasing people like I.

The ice cream's a promise
And peppermint too
And the fudge is as real
As any of you

The chocolate's delicious
Like pudding, or pie
But never the cake

You may think that's
A slice of cake
Sweet and delicious
And freshly baked

But you were fooled
By that sneaky old cook
Hold out you plate and
Take a look

That's no cake
You fell for a lie
It's a banana cream
The cake is a pie!

Cookies are fun,
Cookies are great!
But truth be told,
Cookies are not cake.

Cake is a myth
On me you can rely.
Other desserts are real
But the Cake is A Lie!

The cake is a lie. The lie is pie. The pie is a spy. The spy is Bill Nye.


(And by the way, this cake is great, it's so delicious and moist.)
