My Aunt Sally Is Strange

This is similar to Queen Anne's Riddles. I'll say "My Aunt Sally is strange," and give an example of how. The examples will always be in the form of "She likes x but dislikes y." Everyone else guesses what the rule is of what Aunt Sally likes and doesn't like. Every time you guess wrong, I give another example. The person to guess right gets to go next. Okay?

My Aunt Sally is strange. She likes hydrating but she doesn't like water.

For Itzika's puzzle it was the e thing, yes. I've started another, though. Unlike Queen Anne's riddle, the answer will not always be the same. I'll lump my clues together to make it clearer:

Aunt Sally hired a gateman but not a butler.
Aunt Sally plays golf but not croquet.
Aunt Sally would not like a goblin, but she always has a soft spot for an ogre.
