For all those of us who can only ever think of something to continue the chain in the media-specific chain games from a different medium... This is for every medium. (Bonus points if you use your NaNovel title.) The catch is, you can't use either of the media of the last two links in the chain.
Standard rules: no using basic words as your linking word, no using the next in a series (say, if you're following up a book with its movie adaptation or vice versa) or a different work with the same title as the next link in the chain, no using one-word titles if there's any way you can avoid it--oh, and you can use ANYTHING that tells a story. Songs, books, movies, TV shows (or episodes within TV shows), comics, online works, art pieces, your own writing (don't name it just so it fits in the chain, but if it already has that name feel free), WHATEVER.
