The Haiku Game

Bringing over an old favorite. My mistake if it already exists.

The game is played by taking the last line of the haiku in the post above you and using it as the first line of a brand new haiku.

(Reminder of Haiku structure: Three lines. First- 5 syllables, Second- 7, Third- 5.)

I'll start.

This is the first one
The beginning of all things
The first domino

The first domino
Fell to the floor like a card,
Aces, spades, diamonds.

Aces, Spades, Diamonds,
All together in my hand.
I'm bad at poker.

I'm bad at poker.
they always know I'm bluffing
I'm just too honest.

I'm bad at poker,
Never achieved well in math,
I should be a chef.

Ninja'd !

Never lied in my whole life,
The truth is, I'm wrong.

I would confess to a crime
if someone just asked.

If someone just asked,
I would love them forever.
But no one asks me...

what they should do about it-
even though i know

It is hard to believe it,
Oh the pain I feel

when I get a cut on my hand.

I really, truly hate when
aliens attack.
