The Land of Man-Eating Pixies. In which I talk about whatever comes to mind, with bi-weekly posts of my ongoing story, The Never Ending War(: It's.. it's pretty good :D
Most of the articles are about how to write, but my other main categories are editing, writing prompts, reviews, and useful sites for writers. I am inclined toward the fantasy, science fiction, and thriller genres so some articles will lend themselves toward those specific genres. I have failed to create a blogging schedule many times. Expect two or three posts a week showing up "whenever I feel like it." ;)
And yes, I promise NaNoWriMo-related articles coming soon. :D :D :D
This is a tumblr blog, so it's in the tumblr blog thread, but doesn't need to be. I keep my blogs all separate and organizationalized (which means they're updated in spurts). Here's my new NaNoWriMo novel blog! I will be posting regularly in November.
http://katesjc6189.wordpress.com/ My anarchic Reading and Writing Blog. http://writingandreadingtheessayfall2004mitocw.wordpress.com/ My MIT OCW 'Writing and Reading the Essay Fall 2004' so I can submit 'Coursework' to an invisible Department and hopefully pass with flying colours. I am debating whether I should do a Nano blog as i feel the model would be better revised and so deal with criticisms of it abroad in cyberspace. I also only want to be associated with NORMAL Literary Practice gradaully learned into a Marathon Model. 50k Novella being valid-as a Novella not a Novel let alone be in a position to seek to get published.
I'm in! My blog is primarily photography related, by NaNo will probably feature heavily over the next few months. You can check it out at http://www.lydiaschrandtphotography.com.
I blog about what I learned through multiple attempts at writing a novel. It's only in its first month, and the current postings are more aimed at beginners seeking help on anyhting they need help with from finding their inspiration, to creating characters, to to getting past writer's block
Once I can get some testing done, I'll post in self-promotion about an offer to guest-post on my blog during NaNoWriMo.
I decided to get another domain for my beautyblog, so if you'll go to www.geanneschutter.nl you'll see my blog about writing. But it is still in Dutch only:) Sorry....
I run multiple blogs at the same time, but NaNo wise these are the most interesting: http://kiazishiru.wordpress.com http://kiaswriting.blogspot.com they feature the same blogposts but I know some people are more likely to read wordpress or blogspot ;)
Sonsie Serpents is my personal blog, which has posts ranging from cute, plus-sized outfits, me struggling to create a musical language for one of my conworlds, and gifs of Merlin and Arthur. The Memory of Stone is my story notes blog, where I rant and ramble about my NaNoWriMo project and get asked questions to make me think more about it. I'll probably talk about NaNo on both, but the former will be "asdkajskdjak WHY CAN'T I WRITE THIS SCENE :(" and the second will be "Alright, so I need Olwen to kill Aran here, but there are five guards, and I'm not sure how Roderick will kill those without Aran noticing."
Flow of thoughts is my blog but it's in finnish so probably most of you doesn't understand what I'm writing there. And now I'm thinking if I should start over and start to blog in english or not. It's just that I want comments and in english there are probably more readers but I can use my native language better than english... What do you guys think? Should I start bloggin english or do I keep my finnish blog? Or maybe I should write some posts in finnish and some in english? :'D
I post a lot of stuff: random thoughts, awesome things, but mostly stuff about books and - surprise! writing! I'll be posting updates and stuff during Nano ^_^
Participants' Blogs
*peeks in*
Well, for some reason, no one's made this thread. In fact, no one's even posted on this forum.
Poor, lonely little forum. ):
Here's to a tradition of creating a great, staggering source of procrastination, in the form of an ENORMOUS list of fellow NaNoer's blogs.
I'll kickstart this baby:
The Redhead
This is my occasionally on topic writing blog. Hope you enjoy. :)
Mod Note: Links aren't quite working right, so you'll want to use the full HTML for links if you want it to be clickable!
Re: Participants' Blogs
Rigged
It's pretty much about my writing, with a bit of general whining thrown in for good measure.
Re: Participants' Blogs
Mine is more of a sketchblog, where I occasionally ramble about worldbuilding and characters and ideas:
The Imaginographica
Re: Participants' Blogs
I just started a new one. It's a bunch of Nonschence. I like making up words.

Re: Participants' Blogs
I run a creative writing blog for writers called Scribbling on the Computer.

My Blogspot Poets' Sceneries most definitely will tackle the topic of NaNoWriMo when the time comes. I blog as actively as I possibly can.

Re: Participants' Blogs
My blog is called My Life as a Teenage Novelist and it can be found here: http://theredhead-blog.blogspot.com
The title pretty much says it all. I write about the experience of being a teenage writer, while also giving out advice to other young writers.
