So I have scoured the net looking for information on life at university in the early 19th century but have come up with very few primary sources. I was hoping there might be someone out there with information to help me.
You might find something by looking up biographies of men who must have attended university in those days, maybe, or contemporary letters or things of that sort.

The book was published in the 1830s, slightly after your time period, but it may give you some ideas. :)
