my ending scared me

I finally wrote something scary, or creepy, or worthy of "horror" - at least for me as a reader! FINALLY.

I was kicking myself the whole way through thinking "none of this is written in a way that will freak anyone out, even if the content is weird." And then, 8:30 pm last night? AUGH. A scary ending somehow fell out of my fingers, zombie style panicked chace and then a possible ghost or undead thing, and then I was creeped out all evening. I'm creeped out thinking about it now!

Phew. Anyone else? It was satisfying, even if unsettling.

Congratulations! It's a magical feeling when something perfect like that pours out into your story.

I have yet to get that feeling for any of my stories. I mean, I do like what I write but I never get like an overflowing feeling of joy. Congrats to you!
