Plots/Ideas attacking your brain 24/7 like it is to mine?

The matter of plots is if you're like me, there are so many rattling in your brain every single second of every day, and they just stay in there until you take mercy upon yourself and write them down into whatever form of writing as long as it satisfies your muse and insanity. :) :D
But sometimes, you only are able to write half the plot and the other half stays inside your brain. Happens to me a lot, fortunately or unfortunately, it depends on how you look at it really, so I guess both.
Hopefully I can write some of these plots seeing as I'll be doing this! Link below.

Keyword, hopefully.
For this, I'll most likely doing one and two shots every day which I am looking forward to in 1 to 2 days.
The thing with me is, almost everything I read and watch, I get an idea from scenes in it, it forms into a plot, and then I have an addition of multiple plots to add every single day.
Oh dear insanity, I love you, I do but sometimes you drive me up a wall and I'm losing any hope that I had at least a little sanity left.

I have a similar issue in that I'm inundated with plot bunnies.

The problem is that most of my plot bunnies are malnourished or actually plot rats in disguise; just concepts, nothing concrete. So I have to mull them over until one starts to go all "Watership Down" on the others. That's the one plot bunny that is actually growing strong enough for me to start fleshing out characters, setting up my plot matrices and stuff like that. At that point, I may realize that my plot bunny is actually a bit "off"; gimpy foot, bad plot structure, whatever. Then I have to put that one down and see if another has risen anew.

And so it goes until I have one plot bunny that is strong enough to survive the onslaught of the others and grows past plotting into prose.

I'm glad that my mind is not like that. It'd drive me even further into insanity.
I like the way my plots always are because that way they are always ready to be jotted down into words.
And watching Batman and the Dark Knight(Both with Christin Bale) is only giving me more and more ideas.

Haha. That is the best description of plot bunnies I've ever heard!

I know how you all feel. I have so many different ideas in my head that I want to work on. Half of them I've started to write before, and half of them are just vague ideas. The one I'm thinking of most right now is one that I tried to think about a little more - I wanted to create an outline - and it turns out that I don't really have enough for a real plot, just a synopsis. It's depressing, but I'm hoping if I think about it a bit more I might be able to have an outline by the time NaNo rolls around.

The thing is, I'm really enjoying having so many ideas bouncing around. For so long now, I've wanted to write (since I was like 7, at least), but I couldn't come up with any ideas of what to write. Fan fiction kept me going for a while, but now I want to try writing my own stuff. I would so much rather be inundated with ideas then stuck with the desire to write without any ideas.

I'm getting lots of plot ideas for new stories. The only problem is that I haven't finished my nano 2011 yet. I jotted down a few things but they're all beginning to yell for attention.
Okay, plot bunnies, I can only write one at a time. settle down and wait your turn!

I'm so glad almost everyone on here understands the life of a writer!
There's only so much you can write at a time.
Good luck with getting out all your plots and finishing your 2011 Nano!
Oh you see, the thing is, they'll always be clambering at the front of your mind, yelling for attention.
Such fun isn't it?(Hint the sarcasm)

My brain won't turn off at night. Sometimes it's ideas for my stories, sometimes it's just random thoughts.

Plots won't give you mercy just because you need so called sleep.

Too bad it isn't just plots. It's also random thoughts.

I don't seem to struggle with this interesting problem. I guess that I am so busy that there is hardly enough room in my brain for my schoolwork, Japanese, and life, let alone plots that I would probably never use. XD

Hmm, you may be one of the few lucky ones. Although I love all the plots in my head so I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

This a thousand times! I find it especially annoying when I complain about not knowing what to write and people give me some idea despite my real dilemma being I just don't know which plot to choose. I probably find that as annoying as they find my complaining. Anyway, I find the only solution to cure myself of the plot bunnies is to find an idea so attractive that all further plot bunnies are just the offspring of said bunny.

Also, to weed out the evil bunnies, I try to write a one-sentence tagline. If I can't come up with a decent one, that means the bunny is too young to defend itself so I am forced to kill it and try to savage whatever pieces might be usable.

It's a little sad that I understand that even if no one else would. But I'm glad I do, us writers are all insane and we-I lost all hope a long ago that we had any sanity left.
That's a good thing you're doing, and it perfectly makes sense!
With my plots, I just leave them brewing in my head until one of them starts yelling in my head for attention.
Plots; I only have so much attention I can give you all at one time!

Ohhh, the same thing happens to me! The problem is that anything and everything inspires me. I will be having a conversation with someone about their writing, and then their problems end up adding to my hoard! The problem is that most of these are just concepts or characters, or an idea for a single occurrence in the plot continuum, which may or may not tie in. Therefore, I keep getting ideas, but none of the plot holes ever end up getting filled out, so I still have a crazy mess on my hands.

In between this paragraph and the previous one, I just had yet another plot thought. Sigh. My brain never turns off. I never know what to write not because of a lack of ideas, but becaue they're all so equally good! I don't think I can finish all of this within my lifetime.

...But given the choice, I wouldn't have it any other way. What does that say about me? =P Yeah, I'm insane.

You sound almost exactly like me! :-)
Yes, given the choice, I wouldn't have it any other way either. I love having all these ideas jumbled in my head, it's fun and exciting for me!
We already know everyone on here is insane, it's part of the process if you're a writer.
