This year i'm writing a fictional memoir about a little girl who tries to kill her older sister and is then convinced she's going to hell and whips herself into a religious frenzy to avoid doing so. I'm writing it from the pov of her adult self and I'm thinking I'm going to be heavily influenced by Darcey Steinke's _Jesus Saves_ and by _The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time_. Character driven but not without plot. Sound mainstream? Would you read it? Thanks! It starts off with her background: family, school, previous relationships then moves into her being trafficked then rescued to later write this novel.
