Keep in mind that a lot of this description is layered with Nick's own view on where he is, and he's VERY convinced this is the mansion belonging to that family. Yes? No? Any guesses where he is? The reason I'm asking is this is the big surprise at the end and I want it to be a big shock to readers if I publish this someday.
