Donate your novel for research!

Did you write something this November that you are pretty sure you'll never publish? Or, do you plan on publishing it after you've put it through so many revisions that it'll be almost unrecognizable from your dreadful first draft?

Why not donate your first draft for research?

What kind of research and by whom - I don't know. But even if you've written something that nobody would consider literature in its present state, I say to you that it could be a fascinating document of not only your individual psyche, but of collective mindsets, social and cultural trends, and the like.

Would anyone be willing to donate their novel to an electronic repository? I understand there could be concerns of privacy etc. and I would be willing to deal with such questions in dialog with interested writers. Reply to the thread or send me NaNoMail.

I have something old that's probably not going to see the light of day. I'd be interested in hearing more.

I'd be willing to take a chance with this year's nano if I knew more.
