If so, posting it online in a blog, like you're doing, could seriously jeopardize that! Publishing in a blog is usually considered forfeiting your 'first electronic rights'. Doesn't sound like much, but these days, presses usually publish on dead tree as well as electronic, and will demand 'first rights' for both formats. If you've published on a blog, they won't touch your work. I've seen this warning in about a dozen print presses, from new to old and established. If you want more info, NaNoMail me.
