An ambitious goal

I have a few scary things I'd like to achieve this year, like take a zip line tour and apply to graduate schools. But perhaps the most daunting task is the fundraising project described below.

As you probably remember, Haiti was devastated by an earthquake about two years ago. Although the small nation is no longer making headlines, there are still people who need our support. Random Acts - a nonprofit organization - started building a multipurpose facility. A place that will provide food, shelter and education to the orphaned children.

However, their work is not yet complete. If I can raise $5,000 for the Hope to Haiti project, I will join Random Acts this summer and pick up where they left off. I could spend my vacation time doing normal, vacation-y things OR I could be an active part in a community's future. Quite frankly, I'd rather do the latter. Will you help me help them?
