I hope so. I'll be 'going over old ground' so to speak, writing the second half of my first nanovel (with only notes, references and a clean project file to separate it from the first half).
Who knows, I may grow bored and jump to a new story midstream, though I'm pretty tenacious in finishing something I've started. :)
Djibouti is fine so far. Green Beans Coffee Shop is a great place to write on Sundays! The only downside for nano this year is I don't get the entire Thanksgiving week off to power through. I am pretty good at doing constant daily work, though.
Writing in Djibouti, Africa
First time writing while deployed. It shouldn't be difficult, since I've had 3 successes of varying degrees so far. Still, it will be a challenge!

Re: Writing in Djibouti, Africa
Nice! I spent a 6 month deployment there in 08!
Glad to hear the Green Bean is still there :)
I think honestly, it's easier to write while deployed simply because you end up having more free time then you'd think you would!
