Name?

I'm currently working on a supernatural thriller with scifi-fantasy points thrown in for some fun. Basically I have a legalized team of cops who...work with the more paranormal aspect of their society. I just don't know what to call the squad, the lot of them are based in Boston and because of the shortages of cops with background in the supernatural they cover a large area of ground does anyone have any ideas?

I've always been fond of SI (Special investigations) but i know it's been used before or maybe something like division 5. (or whatever section they are)

My gut says Section 13, But my mind tells me they're part of the Special Police Occult Organized Knight Squad (SPOOKS)

NEPTUNE - North East Paranormal Tracking Unit

I can't think of anything for the last two letters, but I like the sound of Neptune. You could also turn it into maybe a kind of joke?

"We're Neptune. North East Paranormal Tracking Unit."
"What are the last two letters for?"
"Er, nothing really. But Neptu just doesn't sound as cool."

I think simpily The Squad sounds kind of eerily sci-fi-ish.

Jayne Krentz has a series just like that. She calls them Psy Investigators.
