Late one autumn evening, while cleaning up his classroom, Mr. Barnette decide it was time to dust the windows. As he climbed the ladder to the dusty overhangs, a tickle began in the back of his throat. Mr. Barnette covered his mouth with his handkerchief, the last thing he needed was to aggravate his allergies with dust, and with his right hand he steadied himself against the ladder. Mr. Barnette wasn't a big fan of heights to begin with but he already here and work had to be done. As he wiped the overhang the urge to sneeze attacked him, he fought it. With a second wipe and a second attack he knew that this wasn't a job for him. He decided that tomorrow Billy Jennings would do it during detention and started back down the ladder. As he placed his left foot on the third step from the floor, a third sneeze attacked, knocking Thomas Barnette head first into the third desk from the front. Billy Jennings was the first person to find Mr. Barnette, the hair of his head embedded into the corner of Billy's desk reminded him of the flies his dad fished with. Mr. Barnette's blood had stained his desk a curious shade, Billy felt guilty when he thought the color was just right. Eve Cooper is a female detective chasing a serial killer who has kidnapped a fifteen year old girl. It turns out that she has to look a lot closer to home to find out the truth. She is also entering in a relatioship with a female (and married) criminologist. She'd been so excited, bursting in to tell Sally that they could celebrate that night because she was on the verge of catching the killer. But Sally reacted strangely. Grabbing a poker from the side of the fireplace she smashed Eve across the head. By the time Eve came round she was spreadeagled on the floor, arms and legs tied to the heavy furniture. And blood was spurting from her left wrist. The hand lay a few feet away. She couldn't make sense of what she was seeing. "You think you're so clever!" Sally snarled, as she swung her meat cleaver at Eve's right hand. The blade landed precisely midway between elbow and fingers, and the hand came off, bright red arterial blood spurting across the room. Assuming that the centre for abused children is a front for a major business deal, he murders Chad Smith and then ransacks his office, distressed and dismayed that not only is there no huge supply of drugs, but that he gained no satisfaction in killing a rival that had already given up the life. --- Andrés Peréz was a kindly sixty-year-old businessman who had come to the US from Spain as a young boy and had then worked his way up the business ladder to become a giant in the film industry. This, of course, was both too slow and failed to account for the informant spending a large chunk all at once buying a fancy new car. But it wasn't all bad. The drug lords happen to own the garage the informant bought from and did some... modifications. He'd been dummy on this round -- a part he always played fairly well, being both an abominable bridge player and the village bore -- and was per usual not taken notice of. Miss Eliza MacFarland got up to pour herself another glass of that excellent white wine Mrs Sugden served, and noticed the unusual tilt of the Reverend's head. As she touched his shoulder to get his attention, the head slid off with sickening ease until it became all too apparent that there was only a tendon and a sliver of skin that held the head to the shoulders.
