Okay, I was scanning the artisans forum, and noticed something: There is no one left who wants to make book trailers! Honestly, I love 'em, but I can't make them, due to no internet on my main computer. So, is there anyone left who wold be willing to make some for some not-so-computer-savvy people?
I'd be happy to make one for you, (provided you're okay with the trailers that use already made footage from movies and such, lol). Any excuse to get me editing with live action footage again is awesome. XD; Let me know if you want a sample of work or anything.
I'll admit, I haven't made very many out of live action footage and I tend to make trailers/music videos out of other sources, (since animated/video game pieces are a lot easier to store on a computer...). Here are a few though:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMZzJ-0xAr0 --Music video piece my brother asked me to make a while back for his book.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmxqPCcCM4Y&feature=related --Tron/Legacy thingymajig made to be in Tron's perspective.
And uh...this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8olYXJYe80 -- Trailer made for a party I attended for one of my own story ideas. We were suppose to include ourselves in the trailers and since I only had about three days to make it...yeaaah...Never masking non-processed footage again.... DX
Thanks! First one used the song 'Drive It Like You Stole It' by the Glitch Mob and the third was 'Thanatos' by Soap&Skin, (slightly edited down for time, but still, lol).
I love making book trailers! I've made a couple for school projects and they've turned out great. I only have Windows Movie Maker, though, and I'm only a beginner of a sort... XD I can take one or two requests. :)
I don't mind at all! :) Just provide me information like titles, subtitles, theme preference/s, music preference/s, pictures, etc. I can't promise you a perfect professional trailer with amazing effects and such, but I can make a trailer that you can look at and take to someone else to improve and edit. Think of it as a starting point to a perfect trailer :) Also, I can't create trailers in a day, but I do promise to complete a request within a week and a half. Book trailers needed from anyone who's interested.
