Novellas?

I'm working on two novellas this year rather than one novel (same as I did last year, though last year I didn't know it was going to be two novellas until after I'd finished). One will be around 30k words (almost finished), and the other will probably be around 25k. They're a continuation of last year's series, and these two books should finish it up quite nicely.

So, who else is writing novellas or novelettes or even longish short stories?

I'm a writing two novellas both fanfiction (one for this book called "The Girl Who Circumnvaigated Fairyland In A Ship Of Her Own Making" and another one is a "Harry Potter" fanfic)

The Harry Potter one is going to be written partly in free verse, and 1/4 of it's going to be a kind of musical.

The "Girl Who..." one is going to be 1/2 a musical, with a about 30 pages of comics tossed in.

Yep! At least, planned to work on three different stories, one a novella and the other two longer. Except the novella's taken over. I'm writing fanfiction too!- Harry Potter and two Warrior Cat stories that one of them is now looming over everything else.

Yeah, I think this will probably end up pretty much a novella. I'm not sure I could do a full-length novel. I tend to have too much to say for short stories, but not enough for novels. My current project is currently around 25K-30K, and I'm not yet sure how much more there is to go, but I'm pretty sure it will fall far short of 50K.
