Good news/bad news

Well, I didn't plan on becoming a rebel, but since I hated my novel so much (and was 21,000 words into it) I've decided I'm just going to write two mini-novels and smash them into one document to verify my word count.

The goods news: I like my new novel so much better and it flows much more easily.

The bad news: I probably won't be able to reach a length of 50k on either novel, only if I combine them

But you know what, November is about writing and as long as I'm writing, even if it's not on a continuous project, that's a step in the right direction.

I am with you! I started two novels - got to the 6k-7k mark and started a third. So that one made it to 25k and I hated it. So now a short story to get me to 50k and still writing.
