Am I a winner? http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/forums/nano-rebels/threads/43847 ruwth I just validated my word count. NaNowrimo actually gave me 6000 words more than my own count . . . so after validating, I updated my count again to be more accuate . . . not sure what the difference was. Anyway, now I have validated my word count . . . and can get my winner's certificate and stamp image. But I don't see any indication that I am a winner . . . nothing changed . . . everything looks the same. So what was the point of validating my count? Did it accomplish anything? I guess that I expected something even if it was just the word "participant" changing to "winner". As far as I understand, if you have validated your novel, you *are* a winner, even if you don't see it yourself. I did not know that in IE they still look blue. I suggest you switch to a different browser, IE is not a very good one.
