What's your novel's theme song?
Not necessarily the song that perfectly describes your novel, but the one that when it comes on your music player of choice, you can't help but think about your plot. Mine has nothing to do with my novel, but something about it just... fits.

Mine too, I don't love it, it has absolutely zero to do with my novel, but 'You Changed the Way you Kissed Me' is my novel's theme song. But more in relation to it; also the Pillars of the Earth Soundtrack. :-)

Mine is
"Secret Door" by Evanescence. It gave me the Inspiration and it's just stuck in my head, and I always listen to it, since November startet, even if I'm not Writing.

The song that captures my novel is "Can't Get Away" by Mint Condition.
My main character is in love with a woman who is absolutely no good for him. But, no matter how hard he tries, he can't get away from her.

I have two songs. The first really seems to capture the theme of the story, the second just sets the mood and gets me thinking about the characters and what I want to write.
First: "Maybe" by Sick Puppies.
Second: "Nobody: by The Doobie Brothers

Guilt by Nero. That song MADE my story into what it is.

It's kind of a tossup between "Hutterite Mile" by Sixteen Horsepower, or A Perfect Circle's version of "Imagine."

Currently? I'd say "What Sarah Said" by Death Cab for Cutie if we're talking about novel number one. Novel number two? No idea.

One of the songs for my NaNo's soundtrack is You and I. xD It's probably the official "theme song" for my novel :3

Oh Darn. My theme song was also You and I. But I guess I could settle for "Marry the Night" by Lady Gaga. Or maybe "Tonight, Tonight" by Hot Chelle Rae. I can't decide :) .

Citizen Soldier by 3 Doors Down. When I heard it I was like, "That's it!" It even inspired my NaNovel's title.

Haha mine really has so many.... I suppose the one I've used the most recently is "These Hard Times" by Matchbox 20. It probably has very little to do with the plot but something about the tone of it reminds me of my setting and characters. Music is amazing.

For some reason I'm thinking of "I Think I Love You," by David Cassidy. Due to this really cheesy Christian film called "Road to Redemption" I have that song tied up with mobsters in my mind.

"Death For My Birthday" by Say Anything. It pretty perfectly describes the main character from before the book to the first chapter. I'm still working for a theme for the rest of the book... One other than "Renegade" by Styx because this is going to draw enough comparisons to Supernatural as it is.

I love you. :D Shalott is in the top three fave songs list for me. <3 Not the theme song for my novel (that's The Howling by Within Temptation) But I'll probably use an element of Shalott in there somewhere. ^^

The (Shipped) Gold Standard by Fall Out Boy. I wouldn't say it's the overall theme to my novel, but it fits so well with the plot.

Pretty much the whole album of He Who Saw the Deep by iLiKETRAiNS could summarize my novel.

Well...
The story itself was really solidified by my hearing 'The Miseries of War - Warning' by Dead End (I'm even using a bit of it in the trailer (because I'm over-ambitious)). 'Citizen Soldier' was a big inspiration for the last part, too.
