Songs with a future/historic feel

Some of my charries are time travellers. As such, I need songs for them. Unfortunately the best I've got is Clocks by Coldplay (just about any Coldplay, really...), Song for Bassanio, and Ezio's Family.

Just about anything works, but I despise pop.

Especially if it's like the songs above. :)

Some songs/albums that are specifically about time travel is Time Cop by .357 Lover and the album Broken Bride by Ludo.

Another possibility is Time in a Bottle by Jim Croce (at least it feels like it could work for time travel to me). In the Year 2525 by Zager and Evans, and the Time Warp from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

If you are not looking for songs "about" time / time travel, putting together a mix of things like Phillip Glass, Benny Goodman, Strauss waltz, Benedictine Monks, african tribal drumming, Elivs, etc. will certainly give a feeling of bouncing through time.

I'm trying to remember some songs from the Back To The Future movies. Didn't Huey Lewis and the News do one called "Back in Time?" And I'm thinking there was a ZZ Top number from the third movie.

Futuristic: Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf. Damn, I love that song :D
