I went to the soundtrack for the TV series "24" (loved that show) and found "One Man Against Juma's Army" (song title-instrumental) which I really like. Who else has found some good suspenseful tunes? PS I don't mean horror- there's a separate thread for that. It was perfect! Having it on shuffle gave me plenty of long, mysterious notes to write out dark times as well as a few upbeat and happy moments with which I could sprinkle happiness into my book. This year I'm writing the sequel to last year's book and I'm considering doing something similar, or perhaps I'll move onto a different soundtrack. My one issue with music is that I can get really easily distracted if there are lyrics so I tend toward instrumentals only. Happy writing!
