If it's songs that mention flying, then "Heaven Knows" by Rise Against... it's not really about flying, but it uses it as a clever and well-described metaphor.

"Free as a Bird" by the Beatles, of course... "Perfect Weather to Fly" by Elbow is good, too. "Memorial" by Explosions in the Sky is instrumental, but feels utterly weightless.

Get Up - Superchick (about trying to fly so it can be said they got there eventually...) "Defying Gravity" has already been mentioned but I would like to add you might want to look up the version from Kerry Ellis's "Wicked in Rock" album if you wanna try something more fast paced. Oh and maybe "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson like with the lyrics I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly, I'll do what it take 'till I touch the sky. Hope this helps!

This might be an odd choice, but My Immortal by Evenescene. It's not flying as in I'm so hapy flying, but it's like the music is carrying you, a bit, and sets you down with a soft "oh."

Most of the 'flying feeling' music I have is in other languages. Not being able to understand the lyrics adds to the feeling for me. (The two most prominent if anyone's interested are "Storywriter" by Supercar and "Cloud Age Symphony" by Shuntaro Okino) Instrumental of "Cloud Age Symphony" by Shuntaro Okino. "Wanderlust" by Abney Park, coupled with a Steampunk vibe. Joe Hisaishi Instrumentals: From the Porco Rosso: "The Wind of Time - When a Human can be a Human" "Mammaiuto" "Ushinawareta Tama - Lost Spirit" "Doom - Cloud Trap" "Madness - Flight" which also has an amazing version on Harp and Viola de Gamba "The Dragon Boy" from Spirited Away gives me this feeling, might be the only one though. The beginning of "To the Lake of Stars" and "Love of War" from Howl's Moving Castle.

If it's fast flight, Real Gone by Sheryl Crow is the first thing I think of. I'm writing a non-NaNo Fantasy novel and the dragon the main character is bonded to flies fast. So yeah that's my recommendation.
