Anyone have a Kindle Fire out there and have used it for any Nano-type writing?

I have, using the My Writing Spot app. (Actually, I'm typing this on a Fire right now!) I wouldn't do a NaNoWriMo EXCLUSIVELY on one, but I think it's a great way to get extra words in when you're away from home. What I really wish is for a compatible external keyboard!

Curse this stupid no-editing function! So I just checked the app store -- they FINALLY have the WordPress app converted for Fire! Which, besides My Writing Spot, is my other away from home solution. Before I got my Fire, I was using the WP app on my android smartphone to get extra words in!

Haha, can you tell I love technology?

I have a Fire now, too--I like it! It's my first device of this kind; never even used a smartphone or anything before. So it seems hard to imagine typing more than a short email or note, but maybe if I get used to the onscreen keyboard... who knows.

I have one and love it <3 It's too small for me to write on, but it's so easy to convert manuscripts into eBook format (either using Calibre or by emailing it to your kindle account for conversion) it looks like an awesome tool for doing that final proofreading pass - read and make notes of where the corrections need to go and do them on your computer.

(plus, I like reading fanfiction and other online fiction, but I hate reading on my computer monitor. so I've been converting stuff i want to read into ebook format for my Fire and finally getting some of those long fics read :D)

I just got one yesterday (gotta love Christmas!) and I'm already addicted to it! I wouldn't use it to write a full length novel on - I don't have the patience, or with my big unwieldy fingers, the skill for that - but I can easily see myself using it for almost everything else under the sun.
