Then came the creatures that ate the fungi, and then the creatures that at the creatures that ate the fungi. Like the Rain Bat, which is a blind nocturnal omnivorous creature thats happens to make a pretty good pet. Or the great Fungi whales that dive into the mist and eat take huge mouthfuls of the stuff. Or the mist farmers who live and work down in the depths of the mist and farm the Fungi to feed the rest of the population, (they die young from chest infections, the air being constantly saturated with water.)
