Kia Ora and Welcome to Wellington NaNoWriMo!

Greetings! If you're new welcome to the wonderment that is NaNoWriMo! If you're not new, welcome back! Glad we didn't scare you off last year. I'm angrysunbird, aka Duncan, and I'm one of your local Municipal Liaisons, which is a fancy way of saying I have even more to do in November. But in a helping you kind of way.

Now that the new site is up and running we can begin the business of getting ready. We're going to have plenty of events running before, during and after November. The number of and attendance of events really skyrocketed last year, and they are a great way of getting through the month and meeting other writers for inspiration and literary celabration. We'll be posting regularly to let you know about the events, so be sure to check in and see what is happening.

NaNoWriMo is almost here again, so I can't wait to see you all soon.
