Since I'm one of those lucky people who doesn't often have much to do, I'm going to be writing at various places around town throughout the month and thought I'd post them here in case anyone else wants to join me. Feel free to add any times and places you'll be writing and in need of company!
Tuesday 1st I'll be in the park near Aro Town Hall, since it's supposed to be good weather. I will occasionally be making trips to gather more caffeine, but if the weather holds I'll be there from 10 until 4.
On Friday 4th I'll be at the Wellington Central Library, probably in the young adult section. Again, 10 until 4 except for caffeine breaks.
Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th will be the same deal at the park, again assuming the weather holds.
Some people met me today at the Kick-off (I was the girl with the Play-Doh). For those who didn't, I'm blonde and pudgy and probably not a serial killer. Please feel free to come along. Text me on 0275708855 if you show up and can't find me. I'll add other times as the month goes on!
I'll be doing some writing from time to time at places like Vivo Enoteca, the Central Library, and the Botanic Gardens. Weather looks perfect for early next week, so maybe the Botanic Gardens for some evening outdoor writing on Monday for a couple hours if anyone is interested. Will go to the gardens on Friday or Saturday to find a good spot in there.
I should be at the Botanic Gardens by 5 pm tonight if anyone is interested. Plan is to meet at the duck pond. Bring some food or drinks and make it a picnic for fun!
I work too, so most weekdays are not good for me, but I will be hanging around on Friday, planning on heading to library after 5, so if anyone is going to be there let me know. I won't have me computer with me though, but I am keen to meet anyone.
I am also being kicked out of the house on Saturday, and my best friend is out of town, so even though I am trying to organize meeting up with some friends I will probably end up at the library for at least part of the day, and get some writing done on my laptop.
Especially as at the rate I am currently going I will need to do a lot of catch-up in the weekend.
You can text me on 021 1037319.
Just tell me that you are doing Nano when you text, so I do not think you are some random stalker.
I may be around at such times, but given that I tend to write on my desktop I'll need to find some more refill if I actually want to partake in writing activities away from home.
Mind you, converting written text into type does yield up many extra filler words that might otherwise go un-added...
Soooooo I totally forgot tomorrow (the 4th) is my anniversary with my partner so he and I will be snuggling and watching Fringe all day. Sorry to anyone who was planning on joining me in the library!
Next week on Tuesday and Wednesday I should be at the library from 11ish to 5ish. I'll be sitting at the tables in the young adult section, the ones that currently have the 'study area' signs on them. Unless people who are actually studying need them and then I'll sit in a corner and cry.

Re: Non-official Write-ins
You (or anyone else) planning on doing any unofficial write-ins outside of work hours (9-5)?

Re: Non-official Write-ins
Oooh, we could maybe have an evening picnic or something? I just like picnics.
Re: Non-official Write-ins
I believe that food should be a requirement for basically any activity!

Re: Non-official Write-ins
I may show up around 6 if I'm not too sleepy and/or cold!
Re: Non-official Write-ins
Ooooh, that'd be awesome! Any ideas of where and when you'd like company? If I'm free, I'll totally be there!

Re: Non-official Write-ins
Have fun then!
I'll probably still show up, probably at the back of the library with all the tables if anyone wants to come join me.
Re: Non-official Write-ins
I'll likely see you there, then. I need out of the house something badly,
Re: Non-official Write-ins
Hello! I'm about to head into the Central Library if anyone is around and wants to meet up :)
Re: Non-official Write-ins
I should be at the library from 12 until 5 tomorrow, excluding food and caffeine breaks! Again, text me (0275708855) if you can't find me!
Re: Non-official Write-ins
I am also in the library most of today, although working rather than noveling mostly.

Re: Non-official Write-ins
I think I'll go back to the library tomorrow, I'll be at the back again, probably from around 1:00-1:30, until mid afternoon ish.
Re: Non-official Write-ins
I'm currently on the street side of the top level of the library, will probably be here for a bit.
