So Confused-Need Help On Getting Started

I have made my novel, but I can't figure out how to add words. Can someone explain some of these basic things to me?

Or are you talking about wordcount information? The wordcount widgets only function during the month of November. That's when National Novel Writing Month is.

huh ha! That explains a lot of things lol. I just joined the other day I was about to start a thread myself on how confused I was but I'm glad I've learned the art of back reading =) .
