New Girl Here!
Hey I'm new to NaNoWriMo and I'm hoping that what's going here won't unleash untold critic horror upon myself.
I've always been interested in writing especially writing erotic fantasy. So well here I am hoping this place will help me... will encourage me... will help me grow and learn and better myself as a writer. I'm already 29 years old, I sure hope that's not to old to be here, I'm happily engaged and have two sweet kids under 6 years old. Being engaged and a mother of two I have very limited time to myself to do just my own thing, my fiancee is busy running a farm while I'm busy being a wife and a mother, so of course this leaves little time for me time.
I'm looking for a mentor... a nice critic who's experienced at writing... who's filled with helpful hints... and who knows muses can revolt too.
I enjoy writing yaoi erotica as well as role playing it, which I find somewhat hilarious because I'm a female who in real life lacks an adventurous spirit as far as sex goes. Which is probably why I'm interested in writing yaoi erotica and erotic fantasy.
So well I don't know what else to put... maybe I'll just duck out quietly... go explore a little before returning to my kids.

I have to say that my interest is piqued. What is yaoi erotica? I thought it a typo at first until I saw you use it again in a later sentance. I apologize if it is something I should know, but I am just a big lug with limited knowledge. I don't know if I am wise enough to be a mentor, but as a writer I can say that I am a nice critic (in which I mean to say that I am too kind to be mean). Anyway I'm always interested in sharing about the work and so if you want one humble opinion of yours (work that is), I'd be glad to share it with you. You can nano-mail me with some stuff if you'd like.
Oh by the way, 29 is not too old to be here, or anywhere for that matter except maybe a sandbox... and even that isn't a hard rule. No there are all ages here, don't feel worried about that at all. I'm an old codger myself and have writing buddies here that range from 15 to 50. Writers are a singularly interesting breed no matter how old they are or where they are on their journey.
Good luck with those kids, and don't forget to make sure to carve time out for yourself as well.
