They're very confusing, nya...
It looks like the newest post is right in the middle and everything spans out from there... but it just makes no sense x.x

This is my second post in this thread, and I'm replying specifically to your post. If the mode you are using is flat, this will show up at the bottom of the thread. If you are using the nested mode, it will be the middle post and slightly indented. Hope this helps!

At the top left of the thread, there is a little thing saying "Display mode:". Beside it, there should be either "Nested" or "Flat". If it's set to "Nested", then when someone replies to a specific post rather than the thread as a whole, their post will show up directly underneath the post they responded to, and slightly indented. This will mean that the new post might show up in the middle of a thread.
If your display mode is flat, then change it to nested by mousing over the word and clicking the circle. Flat means that each post will show up chronologically, which can be more confusing than nested since people might not look like they are replying to the post above them. If you're using Internet Explorer, change your browser as it sucks and will probably have problems no matter what you do. :)
