I entered a few years ago, and then they changed the terms of the contest so they're pretty unfavorable for authors (if I remember right, you have no choice but to take the contract now if you win, whereas when I entered you could walk away if you chose to do so, even if you won). Since then, I refuse to enter. Don't dive in without knowing exactly what the terms and conditions of the contest mean and what rights you're giving up just by entering. I've done ABNA before, and it's always like that. But the first time I've done ABNA, I've gotten into Round 2 while having my name in the pitch. Weird. They've changed up some rules year to year. I guess they're doing it this way so that judges have no idea who the authors are if the name on the entry form is withheld, to prevent favoritism? I don't know. I saw that some of the contest stages talked about posting pitches or excerpts for amazon customers to read. Were names revealed along with them?
