Once my family was all nice and debt free, I'd go buy a house for myself. My younger sister would try to convince me to buy a house with a barn for the horse (and then a truck and trailer for the horse too), and depending on how much money I won, I'd consider once again being a nice sister. And then I think I would travel a bit. Once I got that out of my system, I would settle down in my house (with lawn care service and a maid and a cook) and write. I'd probably get bored after about three weeks of not having a job any more, so I'd then go find myself a nice part time job or a volunteer position, just so I wasn't always cooped up at home, and then write some more. Actually, my friend wants to start a bakery, so I could help pay for that, and then work there part time. Mostly, my standard of living wouldn't change all that much, I just wouldn't have to consider my money as carefully as I currently do. I'd buy my mom a house in Savannah, Georgia, or a house on Tybee Island. Next, I would furnish that house with everything my mom wanted (which would be a mix of Pottery Barn and antique store-finds). I'd buy her a boat too. And her dream car, just so she'll be all set in Savannah. Although, I might have to change that to Charleston. I'd buy my dream house and save it from being torn down.
