I think my next NaNo will involve...FAQ for Merchandise
The two extra straps that come with NaNo Logo messenger bag... how do these hook up??? Do they get drunk on tequila and have a night of regret? How does these hook up?
Seriously, is this the backpack option? Where and how do these connect?

I have NO idea. I've been trying to figure out that myself. My husband suspects it's something to do with attaching it around your waist when you're riding a bike, but that strap doesn't attach that way.
I don't know. If you figure it out... let me know.

I'm not seeing any "extras"--just the shoulder strap plus the two short ones that hold it shut in front. ???

Phoenix, check all the pockets, there was 2 extra straps.

Now I really, really want one. xD
I have to figure out the size first though. (Metric system here. I don't know what 14" is. I like Google for getting me websites that can calculate this for me.)

14 inches = 35.56cm
16 inches = 40.64cm
12 inches= 30.48cm

I actually figured it out by using the information on wikipedia and a calculator. xD Haha.

I really want one. :( But I've got a 17" laptop, so it won't fit. *sigh*

It should fit. It may not fit in the inner, laptop pocket, but it fits just fine in the outer pocket. :)

So no one knows what to do with the extra straps.
Besides using it as a possible plot device for next NaNoWriMo. I suggest time travel. You actually put them there yourself, to find in an earlier time.

...What would you do with them in an earlier time? Unless it would serve me as a spare rifle-sling for my airsoft rifle, it would be pretty useless to me.
