Excuses, Excuses

This is just a little something to help get creative juices flowing. Admit it: you've probably had days where you've missed out on writing for whatever reason. This is your chance to come up with a excuse for those days. I don't want any real reasons; just make up something. The more creative, the better.

I couldn't write today, because one of my MMCs accidentally burnt down the setting.

I couldn't write today because my MC is stuck on a 13-hour plane flight and she is sleeping right now.

I wanted to write today.

I really did.

But my MC's hiding from some Very Bad Guys right now - if I start typing, the sound of the keyboard will draw their attention. Then my MC'll be dead and my story will be over.

I couldn't write today, because my villain had to work at McDonald's today.

I couldn't write today, because my MMC is stuck in jail and I wanted to go visit him instead. XD

I couldn't write today, because my MC is stuck in school. Despite there not being school in the post-apoccalyptic wasteland he lives in. XD

I couldn't write today because I have a hangnail.

Okay, so the hangnail is on my big toe, it's still a hangnail.

I can't write today because my MC fell out of bed and broke his foot. It's all his fault. D:<

I can't write today because it's raining. (Hey, it makes me sleepy!)

I can't write today because my imaginary dog ate my flash drive.

I can't write today because I forgot how to do it.

I can't write today because my villain had to go to Chicago for a fairy-tale business conference.

And the plane crashed.

I can't write today because doing my Finance homework sucked out all but 2 brains. I will need to spend the rest of the day regenerating brain cells.

I can't write today because my foot is frozen in a bucket and the serial killer two miles down the road never returned my ice pick.

I couldn't write today, because I was being held hostage by one of my villains.

I couldn't write today because I had to go to a funeral. Looks like killing off all those characters did have consquences . . .

I couldn't write today because I have an anvil in the oven.
