On the serious side, there's a brief run-down at http://www.turnoffyourtv.com/networks/foxnews/foxnews.html that covers the basics...but trying to issue endless corrections to Fox misinformation would be a full-time job, and a soul-rotting one, at that. Just...ew.
As a mentally ill person with a bipolar father, I want to smack them now. Calling someone mentally ill is not okay to use as an insult, ever. Either you're a layperson diagnosing someone, in which case STFU because you don't know what you're talking about; you're a licensed psychologist/psychiatrist diagnosing someone you don't know, in which case STFU because you haven't had a chance to formally evaluate them; or you're publicly diagnosing your own patient, in which case you can lose your license and I hope you do.
Well, and it's so grade-school-playground, to boot. It's hard to credit anybody associated with Fox with either intelligence or education when they resort to name-calling bullying.
I'd suggest a tall chaser of Rachel Maddow to get the taste out of your mouth. ;-/
Is it just me, or is it a little weird that this thread has become all about Fox News? Someone should start a thread where people can debate about it or whatever. Not me, though. I'm not touching that one.
'S'truth. The genuinely funny thing is that the best political coverage last election was on the Daily Show. How wacky is that? It's a weird world we're living in.
I'd believe it. I've heard that The Daily Show is supposed to be liberal, but let's face it, if they can get a joke in, they don't care what side it is. This, ladies and gentlemen, is generally referred to as chaotic neutral.
Good for a laugh, but I have to say that my favorite part was that he incorporated Brian Regan. Nobody where I live even knows who Brian Regan IS! I can't believe it.
Pseudo-analytical article on writers

Language warning for the article (if you couldn't tell from the link). But if you can handle that kind of language, it's hilarious.
Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
HA! That was great! I'd say it summed it all up really nice.
Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
Okay, I laughed all the way through :D
I sent it to a writer friend, and she asked whether it's funny or sad that all of this is true...^^
Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
Funny.
Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
Pretty good, except for the part about Fox News.
Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
I probably shouldn't point you to the clip where the Muppets respond to Fox's criticism of the Muppet Movie, then.
Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
Mildly amusing, if overdone. But dead-on about Faux News.

Worth a grin. ;-)

Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
Actually, my suggestion is stick to local news channels.

Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
Yup, definitely weird. I'm not starting the thread either. I don't watch Fox News, I just enjoy seeing jokes about it. :)
Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are the best for those.

Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
I apparently like chaotic neutral.
Re: Pseudo-analytical article on writers
Nah, I think you're like me and just like politics and extremists being made fun of.
