Country?

Well first of all, I'm not sure what to call the genre of my novel. It's about four people who inherit a ranch from a man they never knew. The four don't know each other at all either. At first they are skeptic about running a ranch in a city so far away from their hometowns; soon they fall in love with the place and decide they would conform to the man's last wishes. They remodel the ranch, start new services, and start a form of academy (I guess you could call it) that the man wanted to do himself but didn't have the time before he passed.

I've been told this could be a mystery (how?), Western (aren't westerns about cowboys and indians?), and many other things. I'd just like some more opinions. I've been thinking about calling the genre "Country for young adults" but my question is...does it see like a young adult novel? It has some scarce cursing in it but no vulgar or graphic scenes.

So, what's your opinion???

There is actually a thread for identifying your novel at the top of the Genre Lounges section. That might help.
