orthorexia nervosa eating disorder

My novel is about Cell Memory and it picks up with the Main Character acting strangely about what she eats, at first she assumes she wants salt in her eggs (Which her mother doesn't want her to have because she's very scared of messing up her daughter's new heart.) But she has a flashback with people she doesn't even know where they're eating steaks and potatoes and it's salty and she hates it, but the mother figure makes her eat it. The flashback ends with her saying in not too many words that the girl, who we think is Caileigh at this point, says.
" I think that I’ve sworn never to do this again in the past, but I’m not sure.
But it doesn’t matter as I stick my fingers down my throat to relieve myself of the unnecessary pounds. "
So it's kinda clear that it is Bulimia in this instance, but I don't know how to reveal that it was actually Orthorexia Nervosa, (The obsession with eating only 'pure' foods. [[an eating disorder]]) that did the other girl in. I know I want the other girl (the donor)'s parents to come in to explain it, but I don't know how far to let it go on. I'm only starting the second chapter now.

Caileigh (the Main character) DOES NOT fully develop this disorder, but it's one of many things that start to change in her life and mannerisms.
So what do I do?

I am not sure whether I understood your question.

So, you want the reader to not assume she has ordinary bulimia?

If it is only the "purity" of food that matters, would she think of "unneccessary pounds"? Wouldn't she rather think "...to relieve myself of this dirt", or something like this?
