Obsessive Word Count Zip Codes

Speaking of obsessive word count updates...

I don't know if anyone has done this before, but for the past few days I've added locations to my word count progress. I started it Tuesday in Nashville, TN (37214), and made it to Jackson, TN (38314) by Tuesday night.

Before dinner yesterday I made it within three words of Sasser, GA (39885), then after a walk on the beach I slept in Closplint, KY (40927). It looks to be in the middle of nowhere on the map:
Business addresses: 3
PO Box addresses: 86
Residential addresses: 225
- but I felt I was, in fact, really getting somewhere.

Just because my last name is the same as the name of the town, I think it would be cool to be in Hamilton, OH (45015) by tonight, where I would give appropriate thanks for getting that far. Since it is a holiday, though - and after Thanksgiving turkey and a nap - I may only make it as far as my hometown of Wadsworth, OH (44281). I don't really know too many people there anymore, so if I can...just...keep...typing...I can get as far as Loudonville (44842) or Perrysville (44864), where I can rest and visit with my brother or my sister.

Next year, I may pull out a US map and put pins in it, to map where I am each day on my way towards my destination: Somewhere, Iowa or mayber even South Dakota, North Dakota or Montana (50000 to 59999)!

I'm a dangerous combination of pantser and worksheet geek so I better get back to writing now, if I want to get anywhere fast (but if you want to do a little traveling yourself...www.eachtown.com/ZIP/).

I'm not going to share my zip code just for safety purposes, but I don't think I'll be getting to my zip code during November (maybe later, but not this month, since it starts with a 9). Right now I'm in Follansbee, West Virginia.

Apparently, if there's no zip code in the US for the number, you go to France. A side trip to France doesn't sound bad right now.
