Howdy all! I'm happy to be back modding again this year.

We have some ground rules:

This forum is NOT here to get into religious arguments. This forum is here for writing fiction that contains religious, spiritual, or new age elements. People are free to post questions and people are free to share answers.

But let us review some common basic ground rules, shall we?

a) Be nice.
b) Be respectful.
c) All religions or lack thereof are equally valid in this message board.
c) See rules a and b.

If you are going to post a reply, be nice. Read over your post at least twice to see if something is coming off offensive or not. And if you think it could come off offensive to someone, then change it. We're allowed to censor ourselves - we have not locked away our inner editor yet, and come November we certainly won't be locking away our inner conscience.

If you find something someone else said offensive, then shoot them a message, or barring that shoot *me* a message, and I'll look into it. There's no need to continue the negativity by posting even more negativity now, is there?

If you are wanting to have religious arguments, look, I know what that's like. That was me in high school. But I grew up. So, let's take these conversations away to the off topic forum and start up a thread to duke it out, although I would encourage you to do it civilly.

Now, let's all get along, because we all have the same goal - write at least 50k during November about Religious, Spiritual, and New Age fiction.

This forum is not meant for questions dealing with facts - questions about religions, etc. Posts that ask fact-based questions will end up over in The Reference Desk, its rightful home. Other forum topics might end up over in Plot Doctoring, if you aren't sure how to approach a certain part of your plot. So if you posted it here and it's magically gone, check those two forums :D

While you may have spiritual feelings that guide your writing, this forum is for the discussion of the books that you are writing. Social threads will be moved into the Groups & Clubs lounge.

Now with all of that fun stuff out of the way, here's to a great NaNoWriMo 2011!
