In an image of the not too distant future, a totalitarian society crushes 12 districts into submission. Their punishment for rebellion was the obliteration of the 13th district and... The Hunger Games. 24 children are sent into an arena. There is only one rule. Kill, or be killed.

Name: Isabelle Aderelli (Izzy)
Age: 16
District: 4
Skills in the arena: Very good with a knife. She's tiny, so hiding for her is quite easy. Having been trained as a Career, she can handle a sword, but they're usually to big, lol.

Question: 1, should we give descriptions of our characters so other players know who they're looking at? And 2, will this played like a regular Hunger Games or what?

Giving descriptions would make sense, haha. Just post again, if you like. And yes, this will be played like the regular Hunger Games.

Izzy is very tiny, standing at about 4'9. She has light blonde hair that falls just past her shoulders, and grey-green eyes. She's been described as looking like a mouse, on account of her stature, features, and quiet ways.

And Callum is your stereotypical career. He has a big build, he's strong, he's tanned, and he's got bright blue eyes. But don't you ever let that think he's heartless. Callum's really a gentle giant.

YES! Another HG roleplay! The old one died :) But I'm still using my old character, with some very new personality twists.

Name: Visere [I have no last name for him, and I don't need one, so he has none.]

District: 1
Skills in the arena: Visere's weapon of choice is a spear - the stick made of thick wood and a metal point. Growing up in District 1 and training for this all his life, he is a master in a handful of weapons - whatever he can find. Only he has never learnt a long-distance weapon like a bow, as he had always considered that 'cheating' for his pride.
Appearance: Tall, lithely built and fast on his feet. He has dark blond hair which is usually neat. Handsome by most physical means, with green eyes and an enigmatic smile which begs the question: Is he going to be my ally, or kill me in my sleep?

I'm going to leave personality out right now because... I may have to tweak him to suit the RP needs.

Skills in the arena: Is quite short, so he can often go by unnoticed by other contestants. A pretty accurate shot with a crossbow due to lots of practise amongst the quarries. Little skills in hand-to-hand combat, although he knows the basics.

Yes! I wanted to join the last one but by the time I saw it, the thing was nearly full and deep in the story

Etoile is very good at hiding her emotions. She's small and it's easy to underestimate her.

Sorry, I totally shouldn't have said 3 wasn't a Career. Maxy had Aspen as D2 in the last HG RP xD And does anyone want me to get VIs's bio up or should I leave him mysteriously... idk, mysterious.

I've decided every nightfall in the arena I will post a list of deaths and remaining tributes, as well as a bit of information about the Gamemaker's plans for the next day, feedback in the Capitol, just because I think it would be fun ^.^

I'll sort out sponsors :)

A flash in the air, the seal of panem, a brilliant eagle with leaves either side is shown through the arena. Magnificent trumpets are heard. And then, flashes of tributes come up, their face and their district number. You close your eyes softly and pray that your tribute partner is not among those deceased…

"All of Panem is still celebrating the first day of the Hunger Games, and what an epic day it was!" Caesar Flickerman smiled into the camera, speaking with practised ease over the roaring celebration of the Capitol. "A steady amount of kills this first day, similar to other years, but of course, this are the Games, and things could change at any moment!" Pictures of the deceased tributes flash to the screen, crude crosses showing up on their faces.
"Sponsors are lining up around all the districts of Panem to support their favourite tribute! Think your tribute is hungry? At the moment to send a loaf of bread is fifteen dollars!" Names of sponsors scrolled by the bottom of the screen in dazzling white text, and the camera panned out to the festivities while the names were going. Caesar's prep team took the time to fix up his lipstick, and in no less than ten seconds, the camera was back on him and he flashed the photogenic smile that had launched him so far into his career.
"Good luck to all tributes! May the odds be ever in your favour!"
The television crackled and was silenced.

Age: 12
District: 9
Appearance: Ella has short, dirty blonde hair that sticks out in odd angles. She is small, lithe and of a tiny bone structure. She has wide blue eyes. Ella has always been considered pretty, and was the most favoured in the interviews.
Skills in the arena: The first time she'd ever laid eyes on a weapon was in the training centre. She is not a great fighter, but works well at camouflage and in first aid.

Wahhh! I need to join this rp! I just need to brush up on my Hunger Games knowledge first.
