For years, people from the small town of Pittville, Mississippi have been disappearing. No one knows where they go, and no one knows how they're taken. They just simply disappear. At last, you're taken, too, to an underground settlement of slaves- blood slaves. Yes, vampires exist, and they need blood- they're not immortal like some believe they are. You want to resist and run away, but it's so hard not to fall for them with their sweet, alluring words and their attractive appearance. Could it be possible that you could find true love? Or will you try to escape, overcoming the temptation of staying? Your choice.

Artemis sighed as she looked up at the dark, cloudy sky above her. A single raindrop splattered on her nose and she hurried along, hoping she'd reach home before it began raining hard. She decided to cut through an alley that ran through the middle of a block and was a shortcut to her house. Bad idea. About halfway through, something hit Artemis hard over the head- she hadn't even realized anyone was there- and she passed out. When she woke up, she was in a cell. A single bare yellowish lightbulb dangled from a cord in the center of the tiny room, emitting a faint glow. The air was cool and smelled a bit stale, and a spider crawled up one of the bars of the cell, as Artemis noticed out of the corner of her eye. She cursed herself for choosing to take that shortcut, but she wondered all the same, who would kidnap her? And why? Then she heard a male voice out of the darkness outside her cell. "You're awake." Artemis caught sight of a slight movement in the dark, but couldn't make out what the person looked like. At last, a tall boy about her age emerged into the pool of light the lightbulb let off. He unlocked the cell door and stepped inside. "Hold your hands out and be still," he ordered, his voice commanding. "Why?" asked Artemis. "DO IT!" he shouted, and surprised, Artemis obeyed. He shackled them using a pair of handcuffs he produced from his pocket and dragged her out of the cell by the chain. They went up a flight of stairs, and through a door. Artemis blinked at the sudden light, her eyes squinted.
Dasha stood atop a balcony, leaning comfortably on the edge, and gazed out at her surrounding. How lucky she was to live inn such a lavish home with such an excusite taste in food and humans. She glanced down as she heard a door open and the promising clank of chains which indicated the arrival of a new play thing. "Oh Richard," she crooned, her voice rich and smooth. "Have you brought a new toy for me? I dare say the last one was no fun at all." a small crease formed between delicate eybrows at the memory of her last human. Far too submissive, that one. She quickly descended a sweeping staircase, the train of her chartruse gown rustling behind her, sounding like the wind gently blowing through the leaves of the many willow trees on the estate's grounds. ((I didn't know whether your characters were still inside or not, but I suppose my post could work either way. :P))

Aralece smiled at the mirror and winked at her reflection happily, "Aralece you out do yourself everyday, don't you think so dear?" She turned to stare at the young girl in the mirror. Aurana nodded quickly at her mistress, "Yes miss," She answered, staring at the floor. Aralece smiled, "We're having company tonight, and I do so want to impress everyone," She smirked, "Or, at least all the males," She shimmied her hips seductively and winked again. Her fiery red curls were piled atop her pale head, showing off her slender neck. The light gold dress hung to her curvy frame, as if made for her body. Her emerald green eyes seemed to glisten beneath the black kohl eyeliner, and her perfect cupid's bow lips gleamed red, but whether from the blood in her wine glass or the cherry red lipstick, no one knew. She smirked again, yes Aralece was beautiful, but all vampires were. "Your dear sister will be there," Aralece teased.
Bria glared at the apartment she was being forced to live in. Being a vampire was supposed to mean power! Was supposed to mean a huge town house like Aralece's or a huge estate like Dasha's, but no. Bria was a NEW vampire and there were "Codes" about rooming in places where the rats wouldn't even go. But dear little miss Aurana got to live in a comfy townhouse, being maid to stupid Aralece and all her stupid whims. But Bria would find a way to move up, even if it meant killing.
Richard sighed. "Yes," Artemis glanced up at him worriedly and he turned to face her. "Alright, you should know now. We're vampires here." Then he turned around and started walking again as if that should satisfy Artemis's curiosity. "W-what?" she stuttered. "Yes," he said, "Now be quiet or you'll be in trouble."
A slow smile parted Dasha's lips as she approached Richard and her toy. Her face fell slightly as she saw the girl, and she took a few moments to regain her composure. "Dear, I thought I told you I wanted a boy this time," she murmured so only he could hear. Louder, she said, "Thank you, love, she is going to be wonderful!" Dasha now turned her attention to the girl, walking around her in a slow circle. She inspected her hair, her eyes, and the pulse in her throat. "Splendid," she purred, slowly tracing a line down her neck. "So tell me, darling, what is your name?"
(Mello Keehl and xxbvbarmygirlxx may I join you, if not I’ll correct it but I thought she could be visiting Dasha or something if you don't mind.)
Alexandria leaned in the doorway, looking out onto the street, she liked watching the outside world even when it was quiet like it was now, she liked to see the humans go about their lives oblivious. Strange, she would have thought it would make her feel powerful but mostly it just made her other, still, something inside of her made Alex relish the feeling of difference. Hearing the sound of Dasha talking upstairs she pulled away from the door and went to see what was happening, followed as always by her loyal Simon.
Her mother had been sent to Mississipi. Astrid had no idea why she seemed so nervous the day they arrived. Her mother told her flat out never to leave the house without the amulet and a small dagger. Astrid obeyed surely but was confused by it all. She walked out into the night then quickly grabbed her purse from the doorway, her amulet had been emitting a faint glow since the day had begun and she had no idea why. She had a party to attend that night. She had painted her Asian features charmingly and her long black hair hung softly about her face. She had the odd look that so many ascribed to being among the pretty and charming of the world. She straightened her tight fitting gown and walked out to her silver Mercedes and climbed in. She started the engine and drove to the parking lot nearby where the party was being held. Cutting her engine she felt an odd stillness about her. She could no more say why the amulet had begun to throb then why she suddenly felt ill.
Dace Renard (which wasn't her real last name, of course) had decided to spend the evening stalking around a place where, urban rumor had it, a party would be held that night. It was a delightful opportunity. So many people getting drunk and dropping al their inhibitions like so much dead weight, ready to go anywhere and do anything with any pretty face...and Dace had a very pretty face. All her kind did. It came with the package, along with being the perfect predator and developing a sudden taste for human blood. Not that Dace dropped her enjoyment of human food -- it just didn't nourish her body anymore.
Oh, how delightful. A silver Mercedes pulled into the lot and the engine shut off. Peering through the gloom, Dace could see a very lovely-looking woman sitting behind the wheel. Asian features, artistic makeup, and an expensive dress. Perfect. Dace approached the car, silent as a cat.
((By the way, what exactly does that amulet of hers do?))
(Amulet is an alert system that lets her mother and her mother's friends find her quickly in the event something goes wrong. It also alerts the wearer. While it does take some time to trace it is connected to her mother's own amulet and was passed down the family line. Some have claimed it turns into a cross with a jeweled center when the girl has been given the vampire hunter title. She does know what a vampire is and can fight back. In essence she's sure to give someone a run for their money.)
Astrid looked about her into the darkness. Her eyes saw her own in the mirror and then her amulet glowed in the darkness. She recalled her mother telling her it was a bad thing..very bad indeed when it began to glow. Her heart caught in her throat and she shifted the dagger out from her purse. She had been taught to fight..had been taught to identify evil. She was far from perfect but she had been told it might be enough to save her. The stories still amazed her to some extent. She pulled out her cell phone and tucked it into her pocket before hooking the bag onto her arm. Her dagger lay in her right hand, poised for what danger she felt was lurking as she opened the car door and stepped out of her car.
Athenadora stared at the ground absently moving her finger over the surface. She waited until her master found her knowing he would eventually. She had no clue how to escape this place and sometimes she wondered if she ever would know. She layed down now and stared up at the sky. _
Sander was in his room looking through papers he was getting hungry for blood. Hm.... time to find his slaves. He stood up and walked out of his room and started to call their names loudly. He knew they would come. Then again they had no choice. At that a grin spread over his face.
"Well, Artemis, I'm sure you'll love it here." Dasha smiled warmly and took the girl's hand, turning to lead her away. "Now, the first thing you must know is that, despite the seeminly endless freedom there is to be found here, I do have a select number of rules that must be upheld at all times. One, you are never to enter the northern wing, those rooms are for my eyes only. Two, you mustn't try to sneak out. I do keep a few watchful eyes on the estate and they could potentially kill you if you startle them. Three, never show anything less than your best. It is rather unbecoming if one reveals their sloppy side to others. Very unattractive." Dasha finished her mini lecture and remained silent, letting the words sink in. She eyed Alex standing in yet another doorway and waved, changing her course so that she was now approaching her friend instead of the doors that lead to the central ballroom.

((Are they all in the same house...?))
"Athenadora," Williams' cold voice sounded just beside her. He was standing above her on the grass some ways away from the house. They were still on his land, of course, but each time she ran away, he found himself having to search a bit longer to find her. "You ran away again." He was not amused.

Caspar walked the empty streets of yet another small town in Mississippi. This place was the state of small towns and a perfect place for vampire covens. He had listened in on a few conversations about missing people in this area. That was always the first sign of a local vampire nests. Those creatures fed on humans and would keep draining them until there were none left. He gripped his gun tighter and scanned the street for any trace of life.
((No, Dasha, Artemis, Richard, and... someone whose name I'm forgetting are at Dasha's estate. (although I'd say it's something like a castle.. oh well. I guess she's just being modest. :\ ))
Melanie stalked the streets next to Caspar, holding her gun ready in her hand. Her blue-green eyes darted warily around, looking for any bloodsuckers that might be out and about. She sighed and said, "Maybe we should try a different area or something, it doesn't look like there's anything here." Mel wasn't too fond of wasting her precious time.
Athenadora saw William block the lovely sky out with his big attractive face. She stood u[ immediatly, "Mmhm, your point is," she muttered looking down at her feet, annoyed.

Will frowned deeply at her insolence. Some sort of punishment would have been dealt at this time, but he had to keep her presentable when they went to Richard's estate. He would save that for later and instead grabbed her roughly by her arm and towed her back to the house.
--------------- "There's gotta be something around here," Caspar scuffed the sidewalk with his shoe in annoyance. "People just don't go missing like this, Mel." He looked around again and spotted someone getting out of her car. She seemed to be tense and on edge about something. He wordlessly pointed the girl out to Mel.
