Isabelle sat in a chair in The Institute perpetually bored. After their last encounter with Lilith and the dead body of Sebastian nothing particularly exciting had been going on. Until right this very second...
Trey pushed the window up as he slipped into the small bedroom in his apartment. As he stuffed his weapons into the back corner of his closet he checked his still soundly sleeping step brother. The boy was already suspicious of his odd hours, seeing the instruments he carried wouldn't convince he wasn't part of something other than the average teenaged boy's life.
Fallon bobbed her head along to the music blaring from her iPod. There had been quite a bit of excitement when she'd first gotten here, though most of that seemed to have died down now. She turned the corner, finding the door to the Institute's library(?) and walked in, pausing a moment when she saw Isabelle. "Hullo," She greeted quietly as she pulled her earbuds out and wandered towards one of the shelves.
Magnus sighed, utterly bored and left with nothing to keep him occupied. Today had been rather slow for the High Warlock of Brooklyn and that just did not suit him. His cat eyes flicked towards the door as he heard an irritated mew. "Ah," he bent down to stroke the kitted who had just lumbered through the doorway. "There you are, Chairman Meow. I was just about to go looking for you." A lie. Magnus hadn't really been planning to do anything other than laze around and wait for something interesting to happen. Of course that would be hard to top after his and the Shadowhunters' run-in with Lillith. Now that had been interesting, but not in the particularly good way, mind you.
Trey zipped hi old jacket as he stepped out of his apartment, glancing over his shoulder as he waited for Wyatt. "I really think she likes me. I mean she did sit with me at lunch the other day." The younger boy said happily.
"Uh-hu. You sure she wasn't just feeling bad for you?" Trey asked, "I mean not having any friends or anything."
‘Evening Fallon,’ Alec muttered distantly as Fallon passed without even sparing her a glance. He was curled up on one of the library armchairs, an open book resting on his arm. Alec doubted she had seen him, he doubted even Isabelle had known he was there for that matter, it was habit of his, blending into the background. Shifting his position slightly Alec returned to the book.
"Pity that," Fallon said lightly, rolling her eyes after glancing down momentarily at her cut-off jean shorts and dark t-shirt. She jumped slightly when Alec spoke, she hadn't seen him when she came in. "Evening, Alec." She said with a nod, returning her gaze to the shelves.
Fallon sighed, turning away and studiously ignoring Isabelle as she ran a finger over the backs of the books she was looking at. She found the one she wanted and pulled it down, cradling it under her arm as she moved to sit in one of the chairs. She propped it on her knees once she was comfortable, and started reading.
Magnus ran a hand through his spikey hair and sighed again. He was just so bored! Ah, well there was one thing that might be able to entertain him... a smile played across the warlock's lips and he stood up, pausing by his vanity to apply another dusting of sparkles to his face and a smudge of blue lip stick before setting off toward the Institute. He assumed Alec would be there and Magnus was in the middle of desperately missing his boyfriend, so what better way to cure both problems than to seek out the young Shadowhunter?
Trey watched his brother flirting with a girl his age as he leaned against a lamp post. The boy thought he was such a lady's man but when it came down to it he was incredibly awkward around females. "Wyatt, we should go soon. Dad will worry." He called.
Trey whirled as he heard a noise, "Wyatt." He warned, "Take her to the church and stay there until I get you." He kept an eye on the demon, wondering what his mundane brother and he girl he was with saw.
Magnus hummed softly as he strolled down the street as a leisurly pace. Something flickered in his periphrial vision and he turned his head in time to see the dark shape of a demon dart towards a group of kids. "Damnit," the warlock cursed and picked up his pace until he was almost running after the creature, but not quite. It hadn't been that far away and was slower than many other demons he had seen, so he'd reach it before anything horrible happened.
‘You should read Izzy,’ Alec told her reproachfully, his eyes remained focused on the book in his arms ‘or why come to the library at all?’ But he was smiling despite himself.
"He has a point..." Fallon said, looking up from the page she was reading with a small smile on her face. She settled deeper into the cushions then, and her gaze returned to the book.

Re: The Mortal Instruments RP
At that very instant, an extremely angry and lethal demon was loose in the city, ready to attack whomever crossed it first.

The demon eyed the young boy and girls. They would make a delicious meal, it sprung out and attacked.
